Dark green patina, traces of gilding on roses, on a rectangular green marble base. Base resting on a gilt bronze plinth. She was the wife of the famous French Art Deco sculptor Pierre Le Faguays. A superb and extremely rare polychrome earthenware dish designed by Claude Levy for Longwy circa 1930. It represents a stylized character, holding a bird, lush pattern of trees and birds. Polychrome cracked and enamelled earthenware, in very good condition. Edited by Primavera, which was the art workshop of the department store " Le Printemps " in Paris. Stamped Longwy Primavera France and signed Claude Levy. The dish with a label " sv verola 1992 9000" Dish very hard to find, produced in few copies, very high quality of execution.
