It represents a woman chasing the hind.
Nice polychrome patina, golden and brown patina, for the woman and the hind.
Brown and green patina for the base.
Signed Aurore Onu.
Foundry stamp LNJL Paris ( Les Neveux de J Lehman ) and numbered 17 behind the piece.
Ancient cast.

Description

Born in Bucharest, Romania, she moved to Paris in the nineteen-twenties.
She became the companion of Marcel Bouraine.
She executed a number of sculptures in bronze as well as in bronze and ivory, in the clear-cut style of Marcel Bouraine or Pierre Le Faguays.
