Description

Pierre D’Avesn (Pierre Girre ), is an important master glassmaker of the Art Déco period. He worked for René Lalique during 10 years. He designed some vases like ” Serpent “. He was also responsable of the execution of the Lost Waxes for the famous collector Gulbekian. In 1926 he moved for his own account , he designed some vases and lamps. He occupies a very important place among the glassmakers of the Art deco period.
