A very rare and super silver plated centerpiece by Gallia-Christofle circa 1930

Model created by Louis Süe for Christofle circa 1925

Comprising a mirrored tray and a bowl with original cut-glass liner, wooden plate under the tray

Hallmark Gallia N° 5830 on the bowl and N° 5865 on the tray . The centerpiece is complete and original, which is very hard to find

Lenght of the tray           :       24″          Lenght of the bowl        :      19.6″

Description

Louis Süe ( 1875-1968 ) is an architect by training, André Mare ( 1887-1938 ) a painter. They found the “Compagnie des Arts Français “. Company of talented artists specializing in various techniques. They created many pieces of furniture, lightning and other items. Louis Süe also created many models of goldsmithery for Christofle. They are among the greatest artists of the Art Deco period
