Description

Maurice Guiraud-Rivière born in Toulouse in 1881 . He studied at ” The Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts ” . He was a pupil of Antonin Mercier . He began to exhibit at ” The Salon des Artistes Français In 1907 was awarded an honourable mention , the same year as similar awards to Chiparus, Colinet and Tiffany .He exhibited several sculptures at the 1937 Paris International Exhibition . His sculptures are made of bronze , bronze and ivory or ceramics. It remains one of the most important sculptor of this period and one of the most sought
