Silver patina for the woman, masks and hair patinated brown. Marble and onyx pyramidal plinth. Ancient cast. Signed D Grisard on the base. H : 19.2" L : 14.9" Very good condition. -

A superb and extremely rare polychrome earthenware dish designed by Claude Levy for Longwy circa 1930. It represents a stylized character, holding a bird, lush pattern of trees and birds. Polychrome cracked and enamelled earthenware, in very good condition. Edited by Primavera, which was the art workshop of the department store " Le Printemps " in Paris. Stamped Longwy Primavera France and signed Claude Levy. The dish with a label " sv verola 1992 9000" Dish very hard to find, produced in few copies, very high quality of execution. Superb and extremely rare pair of candelabras by Gio Ponti, for Christofle , circa 1928. They represent two horns intertwined around an arrow, on a circular base. Removable bobeches. Each candelabra pierced for electrification. Created in 1928 by Gio Ponti, and presented the same year at the Venice Biennale. They are first marketed in the " Etains de Carville " collection and integrated into the Gallia-Christofle collection. The company " Etains de carville " was created by Christofle in 1927, for Christian Fjerdingstad, then this branch opens to other artists as Gio Ponti. The pair presented dates from the very beginning of their marketing, before they were integrated into the Gallia-Christofle collection. They are extremely rare. Rectangular hallmark for " Etains de Carville " and numbered 170. H : 8.2" W : 7.4" Good condition, some signs of wear consistent with age and use. -
