Maurice Guiraud- Riviere born in Toulouse in 1881. He studied at the ” Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts “. He was a pupil of Antonin Mercier. He began to exhibit at the ” Salon des Artistes Français ” in 1907, was awarded an honorable mention in 1914, the same year as similar awards to Chiparus , Colinet and Tiffany. He exhibited several sculptures at the 1937 Paris International Exhibition. He had several of his compositions made of bronze, bronze and ivory or ceramics.
