An extremely rare chromed metal and glass lamp by Jacques Adnet circa 1930.

Decorated with five glass balls of decreasing size surmonted by a crystal cup.
Chromed metal structure.
This lamp is very hard to find.

H : 18.5″

Good condition, small chip under the first ball, wear on the chromed metal according with the age and the use of the lamp.

Description

Jacques Adnet ( 1900-1984 ), is an architect and interior decorator acclaimed for his furniture and lighting designs.
He began working for Maurice Dufrêne in 1920.
In 1928, Jacques Adnet direct ” La Compagnie des Arts Français ” succeeding founders Louis Süe and Andre Mare.
He refounded the firm with a new modernist vision, adopting metal, glass or chromium plating.
He is one of the most important artist of the Art Deco era.
