A very nice and decorative bronze sculpture, very hard to find in the greatest size
Joe Descomps ( 1869-1950 ) was born in Clermont -Ferrand ( France ). He exhibited regulary at the Salons of the ” Société des Artistes Français “. He executed and designed a wide range of objects in the Art Nouveau style. In the nineteen-twenties he concentrated more on small scale sculptures, mostly in bronze and ivory or entirely in ivory. His work is always very sought by collectors
