Paul Philippe is a French sculptor born in Berlin.
He studied in Paris under Antonin Larroux. He executed a number of figures in various combinations of materials, bronze, bronze and ivory, marble.
His pre-war design are naturalistic, his dancers very similar in look and style to those of claire Colinet, famous Belgian sculptor.
His post-war design are stylized, the clothes theatrical and geometric.
His works are very sought-after nowadays.
