Jean de La Fontinelle was born in 1900. He exhibited in 1929 to the ” Exposition des Artistes Animaliers ” in Paris.He meets the painters Paul Jouve and André Margat and the sculptors Charles Artus, Raymond Bigot, and François Pompon.He befriends with Roger Godchaux, Henri valette, also specialized in the animal sculpture.The animal shapes of La Fontinelle are simple and sweet. He has published many ceramic subjects, his bronze works are rarer
