Cold painted bronze, gilt and brown patina, carved ivory head

It represents a ski jumper taking off for the jump.

Description

Jean Jacquemin is a French sculptor who worked during the Art Deco period. His work is mainly focused on sporting subjects, in bronze or bronze an ivory like ours. His works are of a very good quality of execution. He has little produced, his works are highly sought after
