It represents two entwined lionesses.
Green patina, on a beautiful marble and onyx plinth.
Signed Rochard on the base.

Irénée Rochard ( 1906-1994 ) is a french artist.
Between 1924 and 1928, he studies to the ” Beaux-Arts “in Paris.
He carved many animals like, bears,monkeys,lionesses, horses, in bronze , metal or marble.
His work is sought after by collectors of animal sculptures.
