Description

Pierre le Faguays is a French sculptor born in 1892.
He studied under J Vibert. He became a leading member of the “La Sèle-Evolution ” group and exhibited frequently with them.
He executed a number of decorative sculpture in bronze, bronze and ivory, terra-cotta or marble.
Pierre Le Faguays was a prolific avant-garde French sculptor, whose works greatly influenced the style of the 30’s.
His work egal those of the better known specialists of the Art Deco period, as Demeter Chiparus.
